Questions from parents
Do I need an account?
Yes. A parent creates one TalePatch account, and the same sign-in works in the app and here on talepatch.com. Inside the app, each child gets their own reader profile.
Where are our stories kept?
Books are saved in your account and open in the app on every device you sign in on, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Pictures and narration need to finish downloading on a device for offline use. Deleting a book in the app deletes it from your account too, and deleting your account removes all of them.
Can I make books on the website?
Not yet. Books are made in the TalePatch app for now. On the web you can manage your account, plan and story allowance, and more of the app is on its way here.
How do subscriptions work?
Premium is billed and managed through Google Play or the App Store. Cancel anytime there; you keep Premium until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
