Delete your account
You can delete your TalePatch account at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
From the app
- Open TalePatch and sign in.
- Open Parents on the readers screen and enter your parent password.
- Open Account → Delete account and confirm.
On the web
- Sign in at talepatch.com.
- Open Account and choose Delete account.
By email
If you can no longer open the app, email support@talepatch.com from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We may reply to confirm the request came from you before we act on it.
What gets deleted
- Your account, sign-in details and profile.
- Your account-linked purchase, subscription, usage, credit and page-report records.
Account deletion removes the login, the account’s readers and books and the linked database records. It does not immediately erase every server copy: the pictures and narration of those books become eligible for cleanup on the next retention sweep, and character references and name clips after 30 days. Working files, logs, backups and failed cleanup need their separate deletion processes. See the Privacy Policy for details or contact us to request removal of remaining child information.
Deletion in the mobile app also initiates removal of the reader profiles and books saved on that device. Deleting on the website or by email cannot immediately erase another device’s files; remove those separately.
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in Google Play or the App Store first so it does not renew. See Support for how.
